Happy Sunday! Today is going to be a lovely warm and sunny day and Im hoping to spend some time outside in historic Williamsburg. But before I do I wanted to get to my look last night using some more of my makeup splurge I had a last week from All Cosmetics Wholesale.
The two pictured up top are eyeshadow from Paul Droff in Delirious and Korres guava lipstick in pink. Not pictured is Urban Decay Eye Ink in Loaded. Here is my eye look
Th eyeshadow has a really nice and silky consistency too it. It comes off a little more orange then the picture. I was hoping for more of a blush look but I still really liked it. I had to add the Urban Decay Loaded (that’s the little bit of emerald color lined on the outside) just to have a bit of color contrast so I didnt look so washed out. The Urban Decay Eye Ink is a cream based eyeliner and it comes with a fanatic brush with one end having a smudge tip and the other and angle tipped applicator, which is fantasticand I will be using for other makeup. The makeup pallete was kind of one tone. And being a former art major that is such a no no.
Next to the lips
Korres is one of my new fave brands. Its not expensive at all and they pride themselves of using all natural ingredients which I am a fan of. This his lipstick is nothing less then great. The addition of the guava gives it a light, smooth and moisturizing feel to it. My lips are a little dry and this didn’t make them look flaky and actually is helping with the dryness. The color goes on a little more orangish then a total pink which I love. Sometimes pink can be to much as well as a coral but this is a perfect blend. Here is my final look that I finished off with my usual NARS blush in Orgasm, eyeliner in Sephora liquid eyeliner in purple and mascara from Makeup Forever Smokey Eye
