Greetings from the beach

5 May

First full day of vacation and its raining. Thats ok thou there is Broadway at the Beach for fun, shopping and food. So we started off with some loaded nachos from Margarittaville (where they made me this nifty turtle ballon corsage) , these things are no joke.

Then I accompanied it with a few It’s 5 o’clock somewhere and the bartender must have liked me since he doubled up on the rum for me. The glow kind of made sense after a few.

Back out later I had a delicious pork sandwich and fried pickles and ordered this delicious Liberty Coke. Which was an adult cherry coke. Just coke and cherry rum. Can you tell Im a rum girl? Bartendener must have known because I could smell it. But the view was nice.

I dont drink a lot. I use to years ago but stopped for good reasons but I drink ocassionally socially. And since Ive had some hard times at work Im indulging a bit.

So today was filled with food and fun and a bit of shopping. Ill be back tomorrow since the rain should be cleared out. In the mean time Im watching the rain on the beach and relaxing with my guy. Im a happy girl.
